Her father had planned the building, which was destroyed in 1938 and is now to be rebuilt. At present an outbuilding is used for church services. The reconstruction of the Kreuzberg synagogue is to begin on 9 November 2023 - 85 years after its destruction during the November pogroms of the Nazis.
