Foto de stock - 16 January 2020, Brandenburg, Neuruppin/Ot Gühlen-Glienicke: Wolves walk through the enclosure at the Tierpark Kunsterspring. The wolf pack in the enclosure currently consists of five animals that were raised by hand. The foundation stone for the zoo was laid in 1966, when a forestry apprentice brought a wild boar fresh from the forest, which was then raised in a small shed in the forest and shrub garden of the forestry enterprise. More and more animals such as another youngster, wild ducks, a goshawk, a buzzard and a roebuck were added, red deer and fallow deer were bought, until the City of Neuruppin took over the sponsorship of the animal enclosure in 1975. The home animal garden Kunsterspring was founded with it. Today more than 500 animals from 90 different species live in the zoo in the district of Ostprignitz-Ruppin.
