Foto de stock - PICTURE SHOWS: Christine's grandson Naylor Christine Ball, 59 and mother-of-three, became addicted to drink and prescription drugs following the sudden death of her son, Naylor, who was in a car crash, aged 26. She struggled to cope until her grandson, also called Naylor, came to stay with her and her late husband Alfie. Realising that she had to go on for his sake, the couple cared for him and helped Naylor, now 20, find boxing stardom with promoter Frank Warren. Now Christine has written a book sharing her story after she struggled to speak of her feelings then. A Romany woman, she explained that families like hers work through their problems on their own, rather than seeking outside help. But she found it easier to talk to strangers given that her husband and children were cut up with grief too. *Copy available - contact victoria.burt@cover-images.com* Featuring: Her grandson Naylor Where: United Kingdom When: 30 Nov 2017 Credit: Cover Images
