Foto de stock - 12 January 2022, Rhineland-Palatinate, Trier: A worker uses a jackhammer to pry parts out of the head of the 1:1 copy of the Unesco World Heritage Igel Column at the Rheinisches Landesmuseum in Trier. The Igel Column is known as the largest Roman pillar tomb north of the Alps still standing. The 23-meter-high monument stands in Igel (Trier-Saarburg district) near Trier - a comprehensive restoration of the Unesco World Heritage Site had been completed in 2015. As a copy, the Igel column also stands in the courtyard of the Rhineland Regional Museum in Trier: The 114-year-old replica, unlike the original, is no longer suitable for restoration and is being rebuilt as a ""copy of the copy"".
