Foto de stock - 12 January 2022, Rhineland-Palatinate, Trier: Reliefs of the 1:1 copy of the Unesco World Heritage Igel Column are in the Rheinisches Landesmuseum. The Igel Column is known as the largest Roman pillar tomb north of the Alps that is still preserved. The 23-meter-high monument stands in Igel (Trier-Saarburg district) near Trier - a comprehensive restoration of the Unesco World Heritage Site had been completed in 2015. As a copy, the Igel column also stands in the courtyard of the Rhineland Regional Museum in Trier: The 114-year-old replica, unlike the original, is no longer suitable for restoration and is being rebuilt as a ""copy of the copy"".
