Foto de stock - Sep. 09, 1966 - Submarine Sinks in The North Sea.: A German was reported today to have sunk in the North Sea yesterday evening. The report came from a British trawler which said she had picked up a survivor. The trawler, St. Martin, from lowestoft also reported four more men in the water. The trawler identified the submarine by the Nato pennant number S170. This is the number of the Hamburg- built West German submarines Hai (Shark). The Sharka carried a crew of 15. She was built in 1945 and sunk in the Battle at the end of the Second World War. She was raised in 1965 and re-commissioned in October 1957.
