The British Rail and Hoverlloy SRN-4 cost £1,500,000, can carry 30 cars and more than 200 passengers. Today's trip was a dress rehearsal for tomorrow when Princess Margaret will inaugurate the world's first cross-Channel car and passenger hovercraft service between Dover and Boulogne.
