In full view of the audience, Belita transforms her usual glamourous self into a red nose comic sitting beside her husband at a make up table. Baggy pants, battered hats and red noses and they become a 'Couplacomics' ready to go into a traditional 'knock-about' turn, the only difference being that they are on skates.
