Foto de stock - 1943 - Michael Verhoeven is shooting a film about the beings Scholl in Munich/West Germany - It's called 'Die Weisse Rose'.:A few days ago there were men uniformed as Nazis at the Munich Ludwig Maximilian-University. The reason: At this historic place, Michael Verhoeven show some scenes for his film about the anti-Nazi resistance group of the siblings Scholl (named 'Weisse Rose' = white rose). Sophie and Hans Scholl had been imprisoned during a leaflet action against Hitler's regime at the Munich university and they where executed on February 22nd 1943. Michael Verhoeven isn't the first one who attends to this theme (former plans were stopped by the protest of the survivors). Now, he is shooting his film at the studio - with about 1000 supernumeraries, and has chose the actors for the most important persons because of their resemblance to the 'originals'. Photo shows Hans Scholl (l.) and Sophie Scholl (r.) who were executed in 1943. (Credit Image: © Keystone Pictures USA/ZUMAPRESS.com)
