The castle was then bought back in 1502 by Rene de Cosse. It's descendants still live in the castle today. . During the religion was the castle was really damaged. At the beginning of the XVII century, Charles de Cosse, started many big renovations in the castle. Those will be interrupted by his death, and will never be finished.
