Foto de stock - Church of Our Lady of the Snow. Established in 1397 as Carmelite Order. Highest vault in Prague with 34 meters. In 15th century became the seat for Jan Zelivsky, a leader of the reformation who was exectued in 1422. The church retained its Franciscan heritage under Josef II during the dissolution of religious orders, but was closed in 1950 under the Communist government. Inner court of the church form the Franciscan Gardens, secluded from normal tourist traffic.
